M&M's
M&M's, the colorful button-shaped candies, are about to go off color for the first time in 60 years, but it remains to be seen whether their fans love or hate the change.
The chocolate-filled sugar-coated candies, made by a division of U.S. confectioner Mars Inc., will be available in only black and white for the next few months instead of the standard six colors as part of a promotional campaign.
The candy is sold in more than 100 countries, but the black and white ones will be available only in the United States.

Alleged Fraud in Sale
Kurt Cobain Guitar
A businessman who thought he had a guitar belonging to late rock star Kurt Cobain is suing a Washington state man for fraud.
The lawsuit filed in B.C. Supreme Court claims Earnest "Guitar" Bailey falsely represented a left-handed Fender Stratocaster guitar as Cobain's. Phil Gross, a resident of North Vancouver, traded his own six-string Gibson S. G. electric guitar for the guitar, believing it was used by Cobain in one of his band Nirvana's last concert tours before Cobain's 1994 suicide.
His plans hit a sour note when a famous British rock-collectibles auction house found out the claim was false.
Bailey lives in Gig Harbour, Wash., and was the guitar tech for Nirvana during the 1991-92 Nevermind Tour.

Heart Attack on Jet Full of MDs
Dorothy Fletcher
A flight in the United States proved lucky for a British woman who suffered a heart attack. Fifteen heart specialists, all bound for a medical conference in Florida, stood up to offer help when a cabin attendant asked, "Is there a doctor on board?"
Dorothy Fletcher, 67, who had been on her way from Britain to her daughter's wedding, said Wednesday that she owed her life to the doctors.
Fletcher, who lives in Liverpool, northwestern England, spent two days in intensive care at the Charlotte Medical Center in North Carolina following the heart attack on Nov. 7.
She spent three more days in the hospital, but still made it to her daughter Caroline's wedding.

Hoping to stop Pennsylvania state Rep. Gary Haluska from winning a sixth term, local Republicans have taken the unusual step of placing a classified ad in a newspaper seeking state House hopefuls.
Republicans have about a month to gather the 300 signatures on nominating petitions, spurring county GOP Chairman Robert A. Gleason Jr., to cast a wide net for candidates.
The hardest part of the job may be unseating Haluska, a Democrat who has held the seat in the county of 152,000 — where Democrats outnumber Republicans 2-to-1 — since 1994.

Pizza
"Paris Hilton" is the No. 1 fake name used by people calling for pizza deliveries, according to a survey of Domino's Pizza drivers in Washington, D.C., released Monday by the pizza delivery chain. And 38 percent of those using the name of the socialite model ordered pepperoni topping.
U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft might want to open an investigation into these findings -- he was No. 2 on the list of assumed names used by people ordering pizza.
According to the survey of 630 drivers, nine percent of people who answer the door in the nude tip more than 20 percent, compared with 2 percent of people in pajamas.
Among political pizza findings, people with "Dean for President" bumper stickers on cars in their driveways tipped 22 percent higher than people with "Bush for President" bumper stickers. People with "Bush for President" bumper stickers were three times more likely to order meat-topped pizzas than "Dean for President" drivers.
