M Is FOR MASHUP - RERUN - October 25th, 2017
How To Enjoy YiTT
By DJ Useo
If you're aware of modern mashups, you're no doubt familiar with the excellent bootleg blends of YiTT. In fact he had swell some tracks on last weeks' "M Is For Mashup" Halloween mashup album, "
Monster Mashup The 13th"
YiTT regularly releases excellent singles like "Elvis vs. Justin Bieber - Can't Help Loving Yourself", "Aerosmith vs. Blink 182 - I Don't Want To Miss You", & "Here Comes The Light (Pilotpriest/Beatles/Green Day/System Of A Down)". There's many superb tracks of his
located here
( sowndhaus.com/profile/yitt )
You'd almost expect that to be enough to satisfy any YiTT fan, but he gives us much more than that.
A regular feature of the YiTT experience are his track packed mashup albums. By simply
navigating the web to yitt.bandcamp.com/
( yitt.bandcamp.com/ )
you can obtain a large collection of his full releases. All are set to "Buy Now, name your price, & Send as Gift". If you're familiar with Bandcamp hosting, you already know all tracks can be streamed, or d/l'ed. It's a great system, & even better when the material is YiTTs.
I'm signed up to "follow" Yitt's releases, & does it ever pay off. Recently, I got a notice that YiTT's new album, "
Semi Automatic" was ready to access
( yitt.bandcamp.com/album/semi-automatic ).
I grabbed it straightaway, & found it was up to the highest standards of the bootleg community. Honestly, I found every track to be an "A" mix, with most of them rising up to"A+" territory.
You'll love this collection, & will no doubt go for the other past YiTT releases. As I mentioned, all his albums are
found here
( yitt.bandcamp.com/ )
Well worth adding a tip, I think. Tell Yitt Useo sent you.
P.S. I did a lo-o-ong live set composed of the entire "Monster Mashup The 13th" album. You can
find it here

Perfect for frightening the kiddies as you pass out goodies this Halloween. Kudos to all the contributors.

The straightest shot he has [Trump has to replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions] is by using something called the Federal Vacancies Reform Act. This 1998 law allows Trump to fill a vacated Cabinet position with any person who has been confirmed by the Senate for another position. So, if Sessions were to leave - how he leaves could matter a lot, but put that aside for the moment - Trump could install, say, Pruitt in his place, since the Senate already confirmed Pruitt for EPA administrator. Marc's Guide to Curing Cancer
So far so good on beating cancer for now. I'm doing fine. At the end of the month I'll be 16 months into an 8 month mean lifespan. And yesterday I went on a 7 mile hike and managed to keep up with the hiking group I was with. So, doing something right.
Still waiting for future test results and should see things headed in the right direction. I can say that it's not likely that anything dire happens in the short term so that means that I should have time to make several more attempts at this. So even if it doesn't work the first time there are a lot of variations to try. So if there's bad news it will help me pick the next radiation target.
I have written a "how to" guide for oncologists to perform the treatment that I got. I'm convinced that I'm definitely onto something and whether it works for me or not isn't the definitive test. I know if other people tried this that it would work for some of them, and if they improve it that it will work for a lot of them.
The guide is quite detailed and any doctor reading this can understand the procedure at every level. I also go into detail as to how it works, how I figured it out, and variations and improvements that could be tried to enhance it. I also introduce new ways to look at the problem. There is a lot of room for improvement and I think that doctors reading it will see what I'm talking about and want to build on it. And it's written so that if you're not a doctor you can still follow it. It also has a personal story revealing that I'm the class clown of cancer support group. I give great interviews and I look pretty hot in a lab coat.
So, feel free to read this and see what I'm talking about. But if any of you want to help then pass this around to both doctors and cancer patients. I need some media coverage. I'm looking for as many eyeballs as possible to read these ideas. Even if this isn't the solution, it's definitely on the right track. After all, I did hike 7 miles yesterday. And this hiking group wasn't moving slow. So if this isn't working then, why am I still here?
I also see curing cancer as more of an engineering problem that a medical problem. So if you are good at solving problems and most of what you know about medicine was watching the Dr. House MD TV show, then you're at the level I was at when I started. So anyone can jump in and be part of the solution.

Robert De Niro
Donald Trump (R-Stronzo) answered Robert De Niro's Tony Awards "f- Trump" remarks by calling him a "very low IQ individual" who has received "to [sic] many shots to the head by real boxers in movies."
Yes: He managed a typo while insulting the intelligence of the Oscar winner, who played a boxer in the 1980 classic "Raging Bull" and the less-beloved 2013 film "Grudge Match."
"I watched him last night and truly believe he may be 'punch-drunk,'" Trump tweeted. "I guess he doesn't……realize the economy is the best it's ever been with employment being at an all time high, and many companies pouring back into our country. Wake up Punchy!," he went on say in a separate tweet.
On Sunday, De Niro used the F-word in an anti-Trump outburst late during the 72nd Annual Tony Awards.
The irony of the president calling De Niro "very low IQ," while misspelling the word "too," wasn't lost on Twitter critics.
"'too' many #StableGeniusShittySpeller#IQuestionYourIQ," tweeted actor Mark Hamill.

"The Blobfish Classic"
Jimmy Kimmel
Sen. Ted Cruz will face off against late-night host Jimmy Kimmel in a game of one-on-one basketball Saturday, with the proceeds to benefit two Houston-based charitable organizations, the comedian announced Monday night.
The Texas Republican challenged Kimmel to a charity match after the comic mocked the Texas senator for tweeting a photo where Cruz "looked like a blobfish," at the NBA's Western Conference finals.
Kimmel agreed to the match Monday night on his program, sharing a brief promotional video while launching into some pre-game trash talk.
"If there's anyone you want to have a beef with, it's Ted Cruz," Kimmel told his audience. "This is a guy who, during the election, Donald Trumpinsinuated that his wife was ugly and that his dad helped kill JFK, so what did Ted do to retaliate? He endorsed Donald Trump for president. That's right, this is a man whose motto is, 'If you can't beat them, throw away your dignity and grovel before them like a hungry dog.'"
In a nod to Kimmel's original ding at the senator, the match has been dubbed "The Blobfish Classic," and is scheduled to take place Saturday, June 16 at Texas Southern University, with proceeds to benefit the Texas Children's Hospital and Generation One, a Houston-based education non-profit.

Reveals The Real Reason
Trevor Noah
"Daily Show" host Trevor Noah recently opened about about what previous host Jon Stewart told him when it was announced in 2015 he would be leaving after more than 15 years.
"I walked into his office and I said, 'Hey, what's going on? Are you being pushed out? What's happening? You need my help, let me know, man. We'll fight," Noah recalled at a panel discussion earlier this month.
But Stewart wasn't being pushed out. He was leaving:
"He said 'I'm leaving because I'm tired.' And he said, 'I'm tired of being angry.' And he said, 'I'm angry all the time. I don't find any of this funny. I do not know how to make it funny right now, and I don't think the host of the show, I don't think the show deserves a host who does not feel that it is funny."
Noah said Stewart urged him to "relish the fact that you can make jokes about these things, because there will come a day when you are too angry to laugh. But don't rush to get there."

Business Manager Arrested
Stan Lee
The man Stan Lee recently said is the only person who represents him in any of his affairs was arrested Monday on suspicion of filing a false police report, the Los Angeles police department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
Keya Morgan was arrested around 1 p.m. and taken in to custody by the LAPD's Hollywood Division. His bail was set at $20,000. He is due back in court July 2. Police did not release the exact details of the arrest, but it may have something to do with a report earlier this month that Lee was allegedly confronted at his home by two gunmen who demanded money from the 95-year-old Marvel icon.
In April, THR exposed that Lee - who co-created such legendary comic characters as Spider-Man, Black Panther, Iron Man, X-Men and the Fantastic Four, among many more - was caught in the middle of a war of words among those closest to him, all of whom were vying for control over Lee's life, seemingly for their own financial gain.
Morgan, who's long been involved in the pop-culture memorabilia scene, was one the subjects of the lengthy THR investigation. The other parties involved were Lee's 67-year-old daughter J.C., publicist-turned-caretaker Jerry Olivarez and Lee's former road manager Max Anderson.
Days before Morgan's arrest, a 45-second video was recorded of Lee and posted to Twitter in which Lee made it clear Morgan was the only person with whom he now worked and allowed to represent him.

Wins Court Approval
AT&T
AT&T Inc won court approval on Tuesday to buy Time Warner Inc for $85 billion, rebuffing an attempt by U.S. President-for-now Donald Trump's (R-Corrupt) administration to block the deal and likely setting off a wave of corporate mergers. The deal, which could close next week, is seen as a turning point for a media industry that has been upended by companies like Netflix Inc and Alphabet Inc's Google which produce content and sell it online directly to consumers, without requiring a pricey cable subscription. Cable, satellite and wireless carriers all see buying content companies as a way to add revenue.
Trump, a frequent detractor of Time Warner's CNN and its coverage, denounced the deal when it was announced in October 2016. U.S. District Judge Richard Leon found little to support the government's arguments that the deal would harm consumers, calling one position "gossamer thin" and another "poppycock."
The ruling could also prompt a cascade of pay TV companies buying television and movie makers, with Comcast Corp's bid for some Twenty-First Century Fox Inc assets potentially the first out of the gate.
The merger, including debt, would be the fourth largest deal ever attempted in the global telecom, media and entertainment space, according to Thomson Reuters data. It would also be the 12th largest deal in any sector, the data showed.
In a scathing opinion, Leon concluded that the government had failed to show competitive harm and urged the U.S. government not to seek a stay of his ruling pending a potential appeal, saying it would be "manifestly unjust" to do so and not likely to succeed.

Un-American
Diversity
A GOP candidate is taking heat for comments he made calling diversity "crap" and "un-American." And instead of apologizing, the New Jersey congressional candidate is doubling down. The April comments made by Seth Grossman, the surprise winner of last week's Republican primary in New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District, were posted in a video by American Bridge to the 21st Century, a political action committee monitoring GOP candidates.
"The whole idea of diversity is a bunch of crap and un-American," Grossman said at an April 21 event in Pittsgrove that made few waves at the time. The video was first shared with The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Diversity efforts, he continued, are "an excuse by Democrats, communists and socialists, basically, to say that we're not all created equal, that some people, if somebody is lesser qualified, they will get a job anyway or they'll get into college anyway because of the tribe that they're with, what group, what box they fit into."
Shortly after the comments resurfaced, Grossman's campaign posted a statement on Facebook doubling down on the sentiment.
"'Diversity' is not a virtue," the statement read. "America did not become great because of 'diversity.'"

Wins EU Court Battle
Louboutin
French luxury shoe designer Christian Louboutin won a lengthy EU legal battle over trademarking his signature red-soled high-heeled shoes, the court and the company said on Tuesday.
Louboutin took Dutch shoe maker Van Haren to court in the Netherlands in 2012 after Van Haren sold similar shoes, with the Parisian designer insisting he had already registered the style in Europe.
The arcane legal dispute centred on whether Louboutin's trademark involved a shape or a colour.
The Dutch company took the case to the EU court citing European regulations that shapes by themselves cannot be registered as trademarks.
But Louboutin argued that the use of a colour in a certain position -- specifically in this case a red pigment called Pantone 18 1663TP -- can be.

Beard Contest
Dream Market
A Frenchman arrested when he arrived in the United States for a world beard-growing championship pleaded guilty in Miami federal court Tuesday to participating in worldwide online illicit drug sales using the alias "OxyMonster."
Gal Vallerius, 36, pleaded guilty to drug distribution conspiracy and money laundering charges. Vallerius admitted he first sold and then began orchestrating online sales of cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, oxycodone and other drugs on a dark web site known as the Dream Market.
Vallerius, who sports a long brownish-red beard, was already under investigation by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration when he was detained at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport while en route from Paris to the World Beard and Moustache Championships in Austin, Texas. He had entered the full-beard category.
At the hearing, Vallerius admitted he initially began as a Dream Market vendor selling oxycodone and Ritalin using the "OxyMonster" name. Then he was hired to act as an administrator and moderator of Dream Market to facilitate the illegal transactions, according to court documents.
"Guilty," Vallerius, who is from the Brittany region of France, said in Hebrew through a court interpreter.
