Video footage then shows Grohl inviting the youngster, named only as Frankie, and his parents onto the stage to sing the track, saying, "What's that? You want him to come onstage? Come here motherf-. You'd better bring your dad with you too. Oh yeah, bring your mama… I ain't taking care of you, that's for goddamn sure… Come on… I'm gonna sing this verse then you are going to sing the next part with me… You know how to sing? No? Me neither."

Emma Stone: the whitest Asian person Hollywood could find (Guardian)
Cameron Crowe's Aloha is set in Hawaii and aims to reflect the 'rich culture and history' of the Polynesian island - with Stone cast as a half-Asian character, supported by an all-white cast. Isn't that reflection a little blurred?
Osmium (from Greek osme meaning "smell") is a chemical element with symbol Os and atomic number 76. It is a hard, brittle, bluish-white transition metal in the platinum group that is found as a trace element in alloys, mostly in platinum ores. Osmium is the densest naturally occurring element, with a density of 22.59 g/cm3. Its alloys with platinum, iridium, and other platinum group metals are employed in fountain pen nibs, electrical contacts, and other applications where extreme durability and hardness are needed.
Osmium has a blue-gray tint and is the densest stable element, slightly denser than iridium.

Well, I just got the Barium Enema test results back. Ha! No polyps or tumors. Just a little diverticulosis. Manageable by diet and exercise. Phew! So now it's time to get back to my natural cynically nasty self! Time to 'Off the Pigs'
Lois Of Oregon replied:
The densest element is Osmium. Pictured here is an extremely
dense deposit found in Utah
DJ Useo answered:
Now you're talking. I'm really up to snuff on this subject. The easy answer is Osmium.
Did you know that exposure to Osmium gives Superman the sniffles? Lol.
I have often speculated that "W"'s brain was composed of a high percentage of Osmium.
Tin Foil hats are much more effective if you make them of Osmium.
Seinfeld filmed an episode of COMEDIANS IN CARS DRINKING COFFEE in an Osmium car,
but it was so dense, no one got the jokes.
Lol.

A new study to determine the age of iconic old-growth redwoods in California's Muir Woods has revealed that one of the tallest and most famous trees in the forest is much younger than many assumed given its massive size, scientists said on Tuesday.
Tree 76, so named because it towers 76 meters or 249 feet above the forest floor, is 777 years old, much younger than the oldest known redwood, according to a study by Humboldt State University, which has long been working with conservation group Save the Redwoods League on the impact of climate change on the trees.
"Tree 76 is one of the larger trees that you can walk near so I think people have been guessing about its age for a long time," Save the Redwoods League Science Director Emily Burns said. "We know Redwoods can live quite a long time. The oldest one that we know of is 2,500 years old."
Researchers from Humboldt were able to climb the massive trees last year to take various pencil thin core samples that they can use to compare and determine not only the age of the tree but the structure and biodiversity as well.

A big Banksy artwork spraypainted on the side of a truck has sold in Paris for 625,400 euros ($690,000), an auction house said Tuesday.
The 10-metre (33-foot) wide painting, made in 1998 and titled "Silent Majority", was done on the side of a truck's trailer during the Glastonbury Festival in England by the mysterious 40-year-old British street artist with the help of a colleague named Inkie.
Painted freehand with spray cans, it doesn't resemble the better-known more recent works of Banksy, which rely on stencils.
The owners of the vehicle sold the piece with an authentification certificate from Banksy through the company Digard Auction.
Former US resident George W. Bush is now more popular than his successor Barack Obama, according to a CNN/ORC poll released Wednesday.
The survey said 52 percent of Americans polled have a favorable opinion of the former Republican president who was in office between 2001 and 2009, while 49 percent share a similar feeling about the man currently in the White House.
It took nearly a decade for Americans polled to warm towards Bush, who led the United States during the September 11, 2001 attacks and launched two wars in its aftermath.
The survey released Wednesday was conducted by telephone from May 29 to 31 on a representative sample of 1,025 Americans, the margin of error is three percent.

The quest to solve one of aviation's most enduring mysteries, the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, resumes on a South Pacific atoll next week -- with a cruise ship looking on for the first time.
The 11th TIGHAR expedition will be searching for more clues to back up the theory that the celebrated American aviatrix crash-landed on Nikumaroro when she vanished in 1937 during a round-the-world flight.
"The object is to see if we can add to the preponderance of evidence that we have assembled in the course of 27 years and 10 expeditions to the island," said Ric Gillespie, executive director of TIGHAR -- the International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery.
TIGHAR's latest expedition will set off from Fiji on June 8 for the five-day sea journey to uninhabited Nikumaroro, formerly known as Gardner Island and today part of Kiribati.
Native American in Oklahoma started a campaign on Wednesday for the return of the body of sports legend Jim Thorpe, whose remains are buried in a Pennsylvania hamlet named for the famed American Indian athlete and Olympic champion.
The Sac and Fox Nation, which lost a court case last year on the return of the remains, told a news conference they were taking their campaign to the U.S. Supreme Court and the public, arguing Thorpe's body should rest in his tribal lands after a sacred burial ceremony.
Following Thorpe's death, his third wife, Patricia Thorpe, arranged for his burial in what became the Borough of Jim Thorpe in Pennsylvania after learning the struggling towns of Mauch Chunk and East Mauch Chunk wanted to merge under a new name. Jim Thorpe was interred there in 1957.
Thorpe's two surviving sons, Richard and William Thorpe, have said that Patricia Thorpe, who is now dead, removed the remains in a hearse from a sacred ceremony in Oklahoma in 1953 so that she could offer them up to the highest bidder.

The IRS says a $600 slot machine or bingo jackpot might get its attention in the future, and the prospect has riled gamblers and the casino industry.
The agency requires reporting on a single jackpot or win that's $1,200 or more for federal income-tax purposes. But it's floating the possibility of cutting that threshold in half.
A reportable keno win also could be lowered. The threshold for that game is now $1,500.
The limits were first established in 1977. The American Gaming Association, which represents casinos and device manufacturers, is against the changes. It has said if the threshold is modified at all, it should be raised to about $5,000 to adjust for inflation.
Meanwhile, a more pressing change being proposed by the IRS involves how casinos keep track of how much players have won or lost on slot machines.

When it comes to school dress codes, it sure seems like America's teen girls can't win. Most of the time they're being chastised for showing too much skin-ahem, wearing a floor-length prom dress with long sleeves is off-limits. But at Lincoln High School in Stockton, California, two female students wore outfits that covered every inch of their torsos, and they still had their senior portraits banned from the yearbook.
Before the pictures were taken, school officials in the city, which is about 80 miles east of San Francisco, told all female seniors to wear black dresses. However, Crystal Cumplido and her classmate, Mari Champagne, chose to don outfits that they felt more comfortable in. Cumplido wore a black tuxedo, complete with a white button-down shirt and a snazzy red bow tie, while Champagne sported a black button-down shirt and a white bow tie.
"It's not fair in any way, shape, or form," Champagne said to Fox 40 about the exclusion of their photos. She believes the school's policy is a form of gender expression discrimination.
The photography company that the school worked with required both teens to sign a liability release. "My clothing choice for the yearbook photo is not in compliance with the written guidelines set forth by my school yearbook," read the waiver. "As a result, the school may reject and choose not to publish the image."

Three Affiliated Tribes of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation
North Dakota
The former chairman of a North Dakota Indian nation that controls one-third of the state's oil output has formed a marijuana company to help tribes around the United States produce and distribute the drug.
Tex "Red-Tipped Arrow" Hall, who until last fall led the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara (MHA) Nation, has formed Native American Organics LLC with California-based Wright Family Organics LLC, a medical marijuana company, the companies said in a statement.
Native American Organics said it will help Indian tribes grow and distribute marijuana to wherever legally possible, as well as offer expertise on hydroponics and genetics and advice on how best to work with state and federal officials.
Last December, the U.S. Department of Justice said it would no longer enforce laws that regulate the growing and selling of marijuana on reservations, a ruling that paved the way for Native American Organics.

A dead oarfish, a mysterious and serpent-like creature that swims deep below the ocean's surface, has washed up on a Southern California island and a university biologist will study the remains, officials said on Wednesday.
Amy Catalano said she and a co-worker at the Catalina Island Conservancy were conducting a bird survey on Monday and standing on a bluff when they spotted the long body of the creature on the island's shore below.
Oarfish are of interest to scientists because they live in a largely unknown ecosystem of the oceanic mesopelagic zone, the part of the ocean that is about 660 to 3,280 feet (200 to 1,000 meters) below the surface.
This oarfish measured about 13.5 feet (4.1 meters) long, said Catalano, a conservation coordinator who said she believes the fish had washed ashore only minutes before the discovery. The serpent-like creatures can grow to be more than 20 feet (6 meters) long, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The specimen's head, guts, reproductive tract and other parts were sent to California State University, Fullerton, where Assistant Professor of Biological Science Misty Paig-Tran and her students will study the remains, a university spokesman said in an email.
Margaret Juntwait, an American radio broadcaster whose mellifluous voice reached more than 8 million fans worldwide in live Saturday broadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera stage, died Wednesday. She was 58.
Juntwait died in New York City after a decade-long battle with ovarian cancer, said Met spokesman Sam Neuman.
Until Dec. 31, her last broadcast, her home studio was nestled behind the Met's Family Circle seats under the golden ceiling, in a space the size of an average walk-in closet. A large monitor beamed in the stage action, replaced during intermission by patrons' chatter and the clanging of glasses in the nearby bar.
Since 2004, Juntwait was the familiar voice of more than 200 broadcasts heard on New York's WQXR-FM - among 570 stations in the United States plus others in 39 countries. She also hosted about 900 live broadcasts on the Met's Sirius XM channel, heard three or four times a week during the opera season. In previous years, she worked at New York's classical radio station WNYC-FM.
Before Dec. 31, though diagnosed with ovarian cancer more than a decade ago, she missed only one Saturday matinee broadcast due to her illness.
Listeners will still hear her in Sirius broadcasts. Just a few weeks ago, she was in the Met building at Manhattan's Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts to record content for future Sirius XM broadcasts.
The native of Ridgewood, New Jersey, graduated from the Manhattan School of Music as a lyric soprano.
Juntwait is survived by her husband, Jamie Katz; her mother; three sons and a daughter.
Pink flamingos are reflected in a mirror wall set by keepers in their enclosure at the zoo in Almaty, Kazakhstan, June 3, 2015. According to the staff at the zoo, the mirror wall serves as an illusion of a larger flock, which could help the zoo's 20 flamingos to nest and eventually lay eggs due to the birds' nature of not breeding well in smaller groups.
