'Gigli' breaks bad movie awards record: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's dead-on-arrival "Gigli" leads the competition as the worst film of 2003. So say bad movie experts The Bad Cinema Society, a Los Angeles-based group of movie buffs and critics. With an unprecedented 11 nominations to its credit, the film broke the society's previous all-time nomination record of ten held by 1999's "Wild Wild West."
Only members of the Bad Cinema Society may cast votes. To join the society and cast your ballot or to view the complete 18 category ballot, go to
www.thestinkers.com. Stinkers award "winners" will be announced by the group on Sunday, February 22, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. P.S.T., one week prior to the Academy Awards telecast.
