Reader Question
'Did You See It?'
Did you see it?!?
Comedy Central ran their eight-part Documentary on the current White
house Squatter on Saturday night. A lack of a blank tape force me to
miss taping the entire run of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's instant
comedy classic, "That's MY Bush" Saturday night.
In case you're scratching your head, the series, which only lasted
eight episodes before the "Machinery" of the BFEE Forced the network
to drop the axe.
If anyone taped it, make sure BC gets a copy of it, and have them
review what has to be the most accurate look into "The Real West
Wing."
Tony S-III
Damn, Tony, I missed it! Usually rely on the TV-guide from newspaper...but, it comes out in the Sunday paper, so
I also purchase the Rupert Murdoch-owned TV-Guide, because it provides a modicum of information for Saturday-into-Sunday...
well, I guess, sorta-kinda....they missed this one altogether....will try to access their webpage more often.
Thanks, anyway. : )

In The Chaos Household
Last Night
Watched faux for 'The Simpsons' and 'Malcolm'.
Did a lot of surfing, and spend most of the night online.
Tonight, Monday, CBS has 2 hours of rerun comedies ('King Of Queens', 'Yes, Dear', 'Raymond',
'Becker'), and then '48 Hours', which probably
isn't too fresh, either....this is only sweeps!
ABC has a rerun 'My Wife & Kids' followed by 'Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom'.
The WB has a rerun '7th Heaven', and then a fresh 'Angel'.
Faux has a fresh night, with 'Boston Public' (expect something gory), and 'Ally McBeal'.
The UPN has a night of rerun comedies ('The Hughleys', 'One On One', 'The Parkers', and
'Girlfriends'.
For Koresh-only-known reasoning, AMC celebrates 'Predator'...and also has 'Grand Theft Auto',
Ron Howard's first movie, under the tutelage of Roger Corman.
Anyone have any opinions?
Or reviews?

More ''Love Rocks'' Benefit
Bono - Cruise
Bono was saluted by two Bill Clintons on Thursday night, when he was honored at the Love Rocks benefit concert in L.A. for his humanitarian work.
First came the Bill Clinton video tribute, in which the former President confessed that when he first met the U2 frontman in
1992, "I was jealous of you because you had more security than I did."
Kevin Spacey then stepped onstage and, adopting an Arkansas twang that would have raised Kenneth Starr's hair, said, "I'm so
happy to be here for my friend Bono."
Tom Cruise hailed the Irish rocker by saying, "He is digital, he is analog, he is progressive, and he is mainstream. He takes
the world stage as easily as a 100-seat club."
There were also performances by Gwen Stefani, Lauryn Hill and Michael Stipe, who sang "I Got You Babe" with Cher.
"I never sang this song with anyone but Bono," said Cher, alluding to late ex-husband Sonny Bono. "So this one is for you, Bono."

Suggesting Pole Dancing?
Daryl Hannah
Daryl Hannah has the solution for women striving to get the perfect body: pole dancing. "I worked hard to learn pole
tricks and got in amazing shape," she tells Glamour. Hannah even found a way to practice the age-old stripper art on
her ranch. "I don't have a pole at home - but there's something in my barn that functions as one. If women had poles,
they could stay in great shape."

Newest 'Reality TV'
''The Osbournes''
First, there was "Survivor." Then came "Fear Factor."
Now, reality television watchers can follow the daily activities of rock musician Ozzy Osbourne and his family on MTV in
"The Osbournes."
"What you see on the show is absolutely us," Osbourne says in the Feb. 23 issue of TV Guide. "None of it's been doctored
or manufactured. It's real. It's the Ozzy Osbourne "Real World."
In one episode, his 17-year-old daughter has a birthday party and he spends the evening wagging his finger at her friends,
yelling "Don't smoke!" and trying to be heard over thumping techno music.
"What is this?" Osbourne finally asks. "It's music to get a brain seizure by."
The show begins March 5.

Memories....
Debra Winger
Debra Winger - whose "Big Bad Love" ends her six-year hiatus from making movies - has few warm memories of some of the producers
she worked with when she was starting out. Of "Urban Cowboy" producer Robert Evans, Winger recalls, "All I remember is the massive
amounts of cocaine on the front of his shirt."

Victim Of Robbery
George Michael
Thieves broke into pop singer George Michael's mansion and drove off with his $114,000 Aston Martin sports car and $140,000
in paintings, jewelry and clothing, according to a tabloid report Sunday.
Scotland Yard officials declined to confirm the victim's identity, but said they received a call about a stolen vehicle
Wednesday morning. Officers went to a home in Hampstead, where the pop star's $4.3 million home is located, and found it
had been burglarized, a police spokesman said.
The News of the World reported Sunday that Michael, who rarely uses his London home, was in Los Angeles at the time. Michael's
manager and publicist did not immediately return calls for comment Sunday.

62 Years Later, It 'Killed' In Berlin
''The Great Dictator''
A restored version of Charlie Chaplin's anti-Nazi satire "The Great Dictator" brought down the curtain on the Berlin Film Festival
on Sunday, winning a hearty reception ahead of an international re-release later this year.
A special screening of the 1940 classic, made as Adolf Hitler was launching his blitzkrieg across Europe, delighted the festival
audience at Potsdamer Platz, just a short walk from where the Nazi leader killed himself in his bunker in 1945. Chaplin's dictator
"Adenois Hynkel" is a vicious parody of Hitler's mannerisms and blustering oratory but also remains a timeless masterpiece
of mockery aimed at tyrants everywhere.
The restored version of "The Great Dictator," made in black and white in 1939 and early 1940, uses a print struck from the
original negative and has a digitally remastered soundtrack.
Chaplin plays both the dictator Hynkel and his double, a Jewish barber. A case of mistaken identity allows the barber to take
Hynkel's place at a party rally, where he gives an impassioned speech for peace and tolerance.
The speeches are unforgettable diatribes in the nonsensical, German-sounding language, "Tomanian."
Chaplin's daughter Geraldine said she was thrilled the film had the honor of closing the Berlinale and about the re-release. It
was as relevant today as it was then, she said.
The film was unsurprisingly banned by the Nazis.

Not Much Of A Standup Comic
dick
Vice President Cheney isn't much of a standup comic — but he's not humor-free.
Satirized by columnist Maureen Dowd for behaving like a man who fantasized himself as a spy, Cheney was asked at the
Council of Foreign Relations on Friday about the mystery surrounding his daily whereabouts.
"We don't know where you are," writer Georgie Anne Geyer declared. "We don't know what you're doing. [Have you been] James Bondized?"
Cheney eventually delivered a thoughtful answer about the need to keep bad guys guessing where he and President Bush
may be on a given day. But first, reports The News' Tom DeFrank, he ran with the Bond thing.
"I'm just sitting here, thinking about the analogy to James Bond. There are certain features of his lifestyle that
I've not been able to avail myself of, put it in those terms. Although I am [still] hopeful."

5th Trip Up The Aisle
Joan Collins
Actress Joan Collins walked up the aisle for the fifth time Sunday, marrying a man more than 30 years younger.
Collins, 68, and 36-year-old Percy Gibson were married in front of 175 guests at Claridge's Hotel in London.
"Joan Collins is now Mrs. Gibson," said her spokeswoman, Stella Wilson.
Wilson said Collins wore a full-length, lilac silk gown with a train. She would not comment further because Collins sold exclusive
rights to the story to OK! magazine, and there was tight security at the hotel to protect the photo exclusive.
Guests included musician Shirley Bassey, former James Bond star Roger Moore, and 1960s pop singer Cilla Black, now a British TV celebrity.
"I have always tried to live my life with enthusiasm and pleasure," Collins once said.
Collins has three children from her previous marriages. The oldest — 38-year-old Tara Newley — is two years older than her new husband.

Talking Through His Hat, Officially?
Colin Powell
The US State Department took issue with a profile of Secretary of State Colin Powell being aired worldwide by MTV that
depicts him as the sole dove and moderate in an administration of unreasonable hard-line unilateralist hawks.
Deputy spokesman Philip Reeker said department officials had expressed their concern over the language with MTV before the
profile began airing on Thursday but did not plan to formally complain or request changes.
The profile in question precedes a one-hour taped global youth forum Powell appeared in that is being broadcast by MTV
over the next two weeks in 18 languages to nearly 375 million households in 164 countries.
In it, an MTV announcer says Powell has been the only champion of moderation among President George W. Bush's staunchly
conservative cabinet and derides Pentagon officials and others as "armchair warriors" intent on pursuing military
actions at the expense of diplomacy.
Despite Reeker's comments, Powell is widely considered the most moderate member of Bush's administration and has clashed
with more conservative officials on a variety of policies.

Deferring Salary Isn't Always Smart?
Will Smith
His Best Actor Oscar nomination provides some solace for "Ali" star Will Smith and may even help him get some of his money
back. Seems that Smith and "Ali" director Michael Mann both deferred their salaries - $10 million in Will's case - when the
project's costs soared and Sony was threatening to withdraw. So far, "Ali" is down for the count at the box office, but an
Academy Award for its star might help it get up off the canvas.

Another Stolen Painting
Breughels 'A View Over Alost'
A painting by the Flemish 17th-century master Jan Breughel was stolen by a lone thief from an antiques fair in the Swedish
capital on Sunday, police said.
The painting, "A View over Alost," is estimated by art experts to be worth around $2.5 million.
The thief had apparently hidden on the premises overnight and took off with the Breughel and four other paintings, all of
which were fully insured, in broad daylight after the fair opened.
Security guards chased the perpetrator and came within 20 meters of him before he disappeared in the vicinity of the nearby
train station, criminal police superintendent Christer Sjoblom said.
The theft is the second in Sweden involving famous works of art in just over a year. In December 2000, armed robbers stole
paintings by Rembrandt and master Renoir from a museum in Stockholm.
